I will be drawing Caricatures 'live' at the Ashby Show on Sunday 15th July.The 'Show' opens at 8.30am, so if you would like a unique and truly memorable experience why not have your caricature drawn on the day, call and see me at my stand 'Andy Gilbert Caricatures' in the 'Art and Craft' Marquee where I will be drawing on-the-spot Caricatures.

As a large number of visitors were attracted to my stand at both The Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair and The Derbyshire County Show, I recommend that you call in early at my stand to avoid queueing. Times are as follows; 8.30am to 6pm

Also on the day, I or one of my team will be available to talk about the services that I provide and answer any questions that you may have about booking me to Caricature for your/any 'special occasion', ie; Wedding Reception, Party, Anniversary, Birthday Celebration, Civil Partnership, Bar Mitzvah, Trade Stand, Product Launch, Graduation, Shopping Centre Activity etc,etc.

Food and Drink Fair 26th & 27th May- Hardwick Hall

Big Draw 2011 - Wollaton Hall

It's that time of the year again, fun drawing activities for all the family throughout the month of October.

Wollaton Hall, Notts, will be hosting a Big Draw activity for all the family on Thursday 27th October. I will be demonstating and running cartooning workshops throughout the day all based on a Halloween theme, so come along to have some 'spooky-goings on' fun with all drawing materials provided on the day.

There are several of my workshops running during the day and times are as follows;

11.30, 12.30, 1.30, 2.30.

So make a note in your diary, Thursday 27th October 2011. I will be running my Cartooning Workshops in the 'Education Room' at Wollaton Hall, so do come along to enjoy some fantastic Halloween cartooning and remember no previous experience is necessary as i will show you 'how' on the day.

Only Joking!!

Currently showing at the Gallery, the Library, Burton-on-Trent, is my latest exhibition titled 'Only Joking!' a collection of new and favourite original artworks. Most originals on display are for sale.

I will be attending and drawing 'live' at my exhibition between 11.30am and 1.30pm on the following Saturdays, Saturday 7th and Saturday 14th May, so please do 'call-in' to have a chat as i will be available to discuss all aspects of my work including information about my Demonstrations and Workshops

Also for the children on the day i will be drawing cartoon animals to give away and chatting about my forthcoming book 'How to Draw Cartoon Animals'

Shrewsbury Cartoon Festival 2011

Fantastic news, i have been invited once again to attend and paticipate at Shrewsbury's International Cartoon festival, now in it's eighth year on 14th,15th,16th and 17th of April.

I will be running two Cartooning Workshops during the festival, one workshop will be on how to draw favourite cartoon animals and another on how to draw cartoon faces and fun expressions, both workshops will be full of hints and tips and will be on held on Saturday 16th April.

''Your Face or Mine'' Shrewsbury Library 10.30 to 12 Noon ''Favourite Animals'' Shropshire Wildlife Trust 2pm to 3.30

Both workshops are FREE and are very suitable for ages 6 years upwards and families (all children must be accompanied), all materials will be provided on the day and no previous experience is necessary as i will 'show you how'.

Also on the day i will be available to answer any questions that you may have about the art of cartooning or alternatively should you require any information about booking one of my Cartoon Workshop activities or Demonstrations for your Group, School, Library, Festival or Club etc, etc please do not hesitate to ask me on the day, as i will be more than happy to discuss your needs and requirements.

This is a fantastic cartoon festival that 'Draws the Crowds' and is spread over a long weekend with over 40 cartoonists from the U.K. and abroad participating, so come along and have your caricature drawn or watch the cartoonists in the Market Square drawing 'live' (weather permitting) on 'giant' art boards There will also be reverse caricaturing, talks, more workshops and even a cartoon 'clinic' where budding cartoonists and illustrators can get a critique on their portfolios etc. and if that isn't enough there will also be superb cartoon exhibitions to take-in during the festival.

Big Draw 2010

Wollaton Hall

I will be appearing at Wollaton Hall on Saturday 23rd October, 11am to 3pm as part of the Big Draw campaign 2010

I will be demonsrating and running drop-in cartooning workshops during the day between 11am and 3pm. So come along and have a go at drawing a selection of fun cartoons, no previous experience is necessary as i will guide you step by step through the process.

All ages and abilities are very welcome and all materials will be provided on the day. Also i will be available on the day to answer any questions on the art of Cartooning and Illustration.

So make a note in your diary to pay a visit to the tranquil setting of Wollaton Hall on Saturday 23rd October.
